Nitrous
oxide
Also known as laughing gas, this option will keep your child awake and alert. Best for if your child just needs some help calming nerves while treated.
Oral
sedation
Taken in pill form, this option is similar to laughing gas and will help your child feel calm and relaxed, while still staying awake.
IV
sedation
A middle ground between general anesthesia and laughing gas. Many patients report feeling like they are in a dream state throughout treatment and don’t remember the procedure.
